An accompanying character for Britt, Astrid is Britt's childhood best friend. They are much more in to pop music and current fashion (as current as it is, in the eighties) and is thankfully fairly athletic, since they have to keep up with Britt. They use the gender-neutral pronoun "hen", of Swedish origin, since this series exists in an ambiguous Scandinavian country. The final images showcases all three characters designed for this project; Astrid (left), Britt (centre), and Lars (right).
